NEW STREET APARTMENTS, BONDI

The extensive upgrade project at the New Street Apartments, a nine-story residential block in Bondi, brought along its fair share of logistical challenges. Given the space constraints for storage and the scale of the project, the daily delivery of units to the site was nothing short of a herculean task.

Every unit required meticulous planning and unwavering cooperation to ensure that the schedule was maintained and that the residents received their window upgrades on the allocated and planned date. The installation process was particularly demanding. The doors had to be manually lifted up to nine stories, and the 100kg glass units, which barely fit into the lift, were transported with utmost care.

Despite the hurdles, the efforts have been well rewarded. The significant transition from old aluminum single-glass windows to uPVC double-glazed windows has resulted in a drastic enhancement of the ambiance of the apartments. The rooms are now noticeably warmer in winter and cooler in summer, thanks to the superior insulation provided by the double-glazed windows. The challenges faced during the upgrade have served to highlight our dedication and commitment towards improving the living experience of the residents.
