Strata Window Replacement on the Central Coast
Double glazed windows and balcony doors for unit blocks and apartment buildings from Gosford and Woy Woy to Terrigal and The Entrance.
Central Coast strata buildings range from older walk-up blocks to the newer apartment towers around the Gosford waterfront. Most sit close to the water, and their windows take a beating from salt air, wind and sun. We replace windows and doors across whole buildings on the Coast, with the same AGM-ready proposals and staged installation we use in Sydney.
What Central Coast buildings need
- Salt air. Beachfront and lakefront blocks at Terrigal, The Entrance and Ettalong need frames and hardware that will not corrode. uPVC does not corrode, and aluminium needs a coastal-grade finish
- Wind. Exposed elevations facing the ocean need windows and balcony doors with the right wind and water ratings for their height
- Sun. North and west-facing units with water views get a lot of glare and heat; Low-E glass keeps them cooler without darkening the view
- Bushfire-prone land. Some buildings near bushland have a bushfire attack level (BAL), which limits which windows and glass can be used. We check this before specifying
How a project runs
We meet the strata manager or committee on site, then send an itemised proposal you can table at the AGM, with uPVC and thermally broken aluminium priced side by side if you want to compare. Once approved, every opening is measured, the frames are made to fit, and our own installers work through the building floor by floor around residents.
Single units too
Owners replacing windows in their own unit can use us as well. We match the building's existing frames and colours and supply the product details the owners corporation needs to approve the work.
