Strata Window Replacement in Wollongong
Double glazed windows and balcony doors for unit blocks and apartment buildings across Wollongong and the Illawarra.
Wollongong's apartment buildings sit between the escarpment and the sea, from the CBD and North Wollongong to the beaches north and south. Salt air, strong southerly winds and heavy rain are hard on old windows, and buildings near the rail line or Port Kembla also deal with noise. We replace windows and doors across whole buildings in the Illawarra, with AGM-ready proposals and staged installation.
What Wollongong buildings need
- Wind-driven rain. Southerly storms push water against exposed elevations, so balcony doors and windows need the right water rating and a properly flashed sill
- Salt air. Beachfront blocks need frames and hardware that will not corrode; uPVC does not, and aluminium needs a coastal-grade finish
- Rail and industrial noise. Units near the South Coast line or Port Kembla benefit from acoustic laminated glass
- Older unit blocks. Many buildings still have their original single glazed aluminium windows, which are draughty and prone to condensation
How a project runs
We meet the strata manager or committee on site and send an itemised proposal you can table at the AGM, with uPVC and thermally broken aluminium priced side by side if you want to compare. Once approved, every opening is measured, the frames are made to fit, and our own installers work through the building floor by floor.
Single units too
Owners replacing windows in their own unit can use us as well. We match the building and supply what the owners corporation needs to approve the work.
