uPVC Tilt and Slide Doors Sydney
A sliding door that also tilts - secure background ventilation without leaving a full-height opening standing open.
Tilt and slide applies the tilt-and-turn idea to a door. In one handle position the sash slides normally; in another it tilts inward at the top, leaving a secure ventilation gap along the head of the door. For a bedroom or apartment that opens onto a balcony, that means you can air the room overnight without a full-height door standing open.
Where it beats a plain slider
Apartments and first-floor bedrooms, mostly. Anywhere you want airflow at night or while you are out but a wide open door is not acceptable - for security, for pets, or for small children. It is also a good answer for a west-facing room that needs to purge heat in the evening without being left open.
How it seals
Like a lift and slide, the tilt mechanism draws the sash against its gaskets when closed rather than relying on brush seals alone, so the closed-door performance is closer to a hinged door than to a conventional slider.

Two and three panel configurations. Very large openings are better served by lift and slide, which is engineered for the sash weights involved - we will point you there if the measurements call for it.
